Top Pieces for Spring Break

Whether your headed to some fun in the sun or playing ski bunny for a few days, it's time to start thinking about spring break attire. Since I'm a warm weathered gal, I'm headed to Ocean Reef and Los Angeles this spring break. I'm looking for some fun in the sun, to make some new friends (maybe a cute hairy guy with lots of whiskers) and a little bit of relaxation.

Other than a cute suit, here's a few items that are definitely making it into my suitcase!

First and foremost, Veronica M is a must have on any warm weathered trip. Her styles are figure flattering, eye catching with their stunning prints and unique cuts + she's got an amazing price point. She's an LA staple, and this gal doesn't travel anywhere sunny without one or two of her pieces in toe. She is one of our top selling designers and every year before spring break, we host a trunk show with her top new releases. If you haven't had a chance to try one of her styles, make sure to mark your calendars....you won't be sorry!

Next key spring break essential is a great pair of fitting jeans. Right now distressed and cut up jeans are trending so I'm grabbing these hot ones by Level 99! We've carried at least 10 different denim lines at Range, and Level 99 is by far the best denim I've ever sold or owned. The fit is amazing, the designer uses the same fabric as all the other premium denim lines, the feel is super soft and movable, and the price point is amazing running usually 25-40% less than most premium lines. We rarely have a customer come in and try on the line without at least buying one pair, which is a great sign. For this spring break, pair them with a plain white tank for day and a silk tank, Ingrid Ysla necklace and sassy heels for night.

I can't bear to take a warm weather trip without bearing a little skin, I love bringing something see-through: crochet, macrame, lace or sheer net being some of my favorite options. When else do you get to wear something like this without looking like a hussy? These items can be worn in the every day world with a cute cami underneath, but with a bikini they have so much more sex appeal! Pair this fab lace top with some linen shorts and a cream, triangle top bikini - sophisticated, sexy and stunning!

Another key spring break essential has always been the beach cover up. Back in the day when I could pack tons of items, I had pieces that were designed just for beach cover ups. These days though, I tend to bring a cute dress that serves both as a cover up or a knock-around-town day outfit. This open vent dress by Chaser is just the ticket, and it's definitely heading with me to the keys!

A few other key items for any spring break include: a great attitude, an eye for fashion in case there are any local finds, open minded outlook on trying new things, a good book, sunscreen, a few advil and wonderful friends & family. Have fun, be safe & send pictures!
