Summer Style - Cover-ups & Comfy Evening Wear
It is swimsuit time! The days are getting warmer and the swimsuits are hotter than ever! This season you can find them in a variety of colors including blocks of black and white, hot pinks, oranges, and greens. Cut-outs are super trending in swimwear, too, and look great in two-piece or one-piece options. They add just the right amount of "WOW" without having to show too much skin if you're feeling modest. If you jump on this trend though be careful, they can leave crazy tan lines so make sure you wear extra sunscreen! 13 Hottest Swimsuit Trends Top Swimwear Trends 2014

Whether your lounging at the country club poolside, frolicking on the beaches of the Panhandle or cruising on a yacht through St. Tropez, finding the perfect swimsuit to fit our lifestyle as well as different body types can be a challenge ++ not always the most fun. My thoughts are since half the time you're wearing a suit you're horizontal anyway, focus more on a cover-up that everyone will see. Not only are cover-ups super cute, they are a great way to hide that skin and keep from getting too much sun. Just like swimsuits, cover-ups come in lots of different designs these days, and can be worn in different ways. As long as it fit's nicely, can take a little water, and flatters your curves, a swimsuit cover-up can add a lot to your summer attire and may be a piece you are more comfortable strutting your stuff in pool side.

One of my absolute favorite designers for summer wear is Veronica M. Although her dresses aren't specifically designed to be cover-ups, they are my go-to for any beach or pool outing. Her maxi and mini-dresses are made of a swimsuit-like material which dries quickly, does not wrinkle, and all of her pieces fit a woman's body just right. Perfect cover-up YES, but they also transition perfectly if you are running from poolside to a casual evening event.

Even Veronica M's jumpsuits would look great running around poolside!

Speaking of evening events – I want to be as comfortable on these beautiful summer nights as I do in my swimsuit cover-up. Atlanta designer, Dianne Price’s flowing silk tops look great with Acrobat silk shorts, heels and a long necklace. For this look though, make sure the temps aren't higher than 90 degrees because silk can be tough when cooked.
